The Horex Museum - a small but fine museum that was opened in 2012 and housed eight exhibitions "Model Change" with the legendary motorcycles made in Bad Homburg, three special exhibitions on the subject of "Inspiration Technology" and five presentations by "Focus on ...".

The industrial history of Bad Homburg has been presented in the Horex Museum over the past few years. The Horex Museum has now closed its doors for the time being - only to reopen them as a display depot for the Municipal Historical Museum. The reason is the necessary renovation of the Gothic House. Tens of thousands of objects in the city museum had to be removed and temporarily stored for this.

Horex moves out, moves into the city museum
For seven successful years, the Horex Museum told stories about the origins and special features of Horex motorcycles. The small but fine museum was opened in 2012 and since then has hosted eight exhibitions under the title “Model Change” with the legendary motorcycles manufactured in Bad Homburg, three special exhibitions on the subject of “Inspiration Technology” and five presentations from the “Focus on ...” series. Almost 25,500 visitors viewed the testimonies of Bad Homburg's industrial and technical history, compiled by curator Dr. Ursula Grzechca-Mohr received support from Axel Butterweck from MSC Bad Homburg and Frank Vollmer from Horex-Club Taunus. Countless lenders also contributed to the success.
