Motorradmuseum Vorchdorf

The village of Vorchdorf is located directly on the motorway and at the gateway to the Salzkammergut - in the Peintal district, the motorcycle museum is a popular destination for BMW and vintage car fans, for bus and family excursions, but also as a bad weather program for tourists.

The main part of the collection and the responsibility for the museum lie in the hands of the ambitious collector Franz Amering. The Salzkammergut exhibitors' association was founded with two colleagues who were able to perfectly complete his collection. This association is the operator and maintainer of the purely private museum. Due to the elaborate maintenance of the exhibits and the operation of the museum, we are not only happy to have interested visitors and tour groups, we are also happy to create special programs or sponsorship packages for special events.

In 2019 the museum was hit by a giant fire.
