In the museum you can expect more than 130 motorcycles, scooters and mopeds from the manufacturers DKW / IFA / MZ, Simson-Suhl, IWL and BMW / EMW on approx. 800 square meters of exhibition space spread over 2 floors.

These are almost all models from 40 years of GDR two-wheel production, including many teams, sports and racing machines as well as special vehicles and government bikes.

It started with 80 motorcycles, in the meantime the collection has grown to over 130 vehicles. They presenting the exhibits, great attention was paid to the layout of the situation. A good example of this is the off-road motorcycle sector.

There are many posters and diagrams on display that date from the time of the motorcycles on display and provide additional information.

The Stadtbahn arches in Berlin are historical, brick viaduct arches in the course of the Berlin Stadtbahn, which date from the 19th century. With the founding of the "Berliner Stadtbahngesellschaft" in 1873, the prerequisites were created; in 1874, August Dircksen was commissioned with the construction. The original Markthallenstrasse from around 1897, discovered and uncovered during the construction work, shows the historical ground on which the museum was created.
