Muzeum historických Hory motocyklů Muzeum historických Hory motocyklů

The Museum of Historical Motorcycles in Kašperské Hory was established in 1990 and 2 more branches were gradually added to it. It is a museum in Železná Ruda and in Bečov nad Teplou.

In all the above-mentioned localities, there are a total of over 170 pieces of motorcycles, 80 pieces of historic bicycles and several historic cars. Thanks to these numbers, our museum is one of the largest in the Czech Republic. The collections are constantly being supplemented with new exhibits. The connoisseur's eye will certainly appreciate, for example, the four-cylinder Ariel, the Wanderer belt from 1913 and other exceptional motorcycles. In the individual exhibitions you can find many world uniques preserved in a single piece, such as the JAC 500 or a Wagner motorcycle. A complete layman will also enjoy himself, who will undoubtedly be captivated by the longest manufactured motorcycle in the world, the Czech Republic brand. Another interesting feature is the bicycle from the Kohout company from 1890, whose diameter of the front wheel is almost 160 cm. However, the following other exhibitions can be seen in the buildings of our museums: beer bottles (Kašperské Hory), wooden toys and family puppet theaters and puppets (Bečov nad Teplou), the history of skiing and the Czech Crater (Železná Ruda). More detailed information about individual exhibitions can be found in the museum section.
