Museum of Motorbikes Horní Radouň

The Czechoslovak production itself is then represented here by fifteen different manufacturers of motorcycles and motorcycles. More than 1,200 production labels from various bicycles and motorcycles or 195 rosettes from bicycles hang on the walls of the classrooms. And so we could go on and on ...

The collection consists of 75 motorcycles and 45 bicycles. The collection of 33 motorcycles collected in one room and registered in the Czech Book of Records or the Ariel motorcycle from 1931, preserved in an amazing original condition, is unique. Most motorcycles come from interwar production, a time when many companies engaged in the production of "motorcycles" were established in Czechoslovakia, which is why it is possible to find a total of 15 brands of motorcycles from Czech manufacturers in the museum, where machines are among the lesser known but equally rare. from Achilles, Agon or Premier.

In the museum there is a unique collection of 12 motorcycles of various brands, which are designed exclusively for ladies. There is also a collection of bicycle bells with advertising embossing from sellers and manufacturers from Jindřichův Hradec and its surroundings. Another accessory is a small collection of irons and typewriters, 195 bicycle converters, more than 1,200 production labels from various bicycles and motorcycles, and more than two hundred spark plugs, a large number of helmets, two dozen jacks and much more. All this on an area of ​​about 1000 square meters. Each museum has its peculiarities, with us the bus on the first floor and the torso of a truck in the attic will surely surprise us. Children, on the other hand, will certainly be captivated by Santa's retired sleigh with a motorcycle sled, pedal cars, tricycles or a boy's motorcycle imported from France.

The museum also hosts thematic exhibitions of photographs from history and the present, which complement the unique atmosphere of the entire museum.
