Frits Fend
A personal friend of the family and designer of the Messerschmitt cabin scooter and co-designer of the Messerschmidt "jet fighter".
A Messerschmitt cabin scooter is wanted today and a special rarity among all classic car enthusiasts and one can safely say: very high-priced.

Fend was with us in 1998 for the Messerschmitt cabin scooter European meeting.
A special highlight is that the TV station DSF has come to film the conquest of the Grossglockner High Alpine Road with the Messerschmitt and the European meeting. The end of this meeting with around 130 cabin scooters was a sensation and the final evening took place at our Kaprun Castle, 300m away.

It was very moving how Fritz Fend told his life as a designer during the war. That evening was very impressive that people are still talking about it today.

In honor of Fritz Fend, a separate exhibition area with a memorial plaque was set up in the museum under the motto "Fritz Fend and his vehicles".
