Retro auto-moto Museo

This museum is permantly closed.

On the Carrer Sant Pere Més Alt street, which connects the Arc de Triomphe square with the Palace of Catalan Music, a museum of retro cars and motorcycles opened in a building that was built in 1880.

As the creators of the museum say, “there are few people in the world who have not felt the passion and attraction of a car at least once in their lives,” and it’s hard not to agree with this!
On three floors of the building with a total area of 1,500 m2, there is an exposition of antique cars and motorcycles saved from oblivion and lovingly restored, many of which were a real miracle of engineering of those times, and also marked significant milestones in the development of the global automotive and motorcycle industry. In total, the museum's collection contains more than 80 exhibits, among them you can see representatives from all over the world - from the USA, Great Britain, Europe, old people from the countries of the former USSR that are dear to the heart and eyes ... The names of many of them have sunk into oblivion forever and have remained only in collectors memory - Delahaye, Le Zebre, Benjamin, La Licorne, Adler, Lea Francis, Hotchkiss, Henkel, Volga, Moskvich, as well as motorcycles - Motobecane, Terrot, Monet & Goyon, The Vindec, James, AJS, Ariel, Dnipro and many others ...

If you are still breathtaking at the sight of an old car, and your heart starts to beat faster when you hear the sound of a reviving engine, then this is the place for you! You can leave the reality of today and take a short trip in time to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of those years when every driver was a hand mechanic, saturated with the smell of gasoline and engine oil.
