Automobile Museum of Vendée is a history of the Giron family which for over 75 years has collected, restored and maintained cars, two wheels and all kinds of accessories related to historic vehicles for the sake of heritage preservation.


Over 150 vehicles are on public display in a 3,300 m² room with lots of posters, models and period accessories.
4 cars from 1898: Decauville Vis à Vis, Peugeot, Tricar Leon Bollee, and Victoria par Belvalette. Oldest car from 1885, a steam-driven Dion Bouton.

Nestled in the heart of the Côte des Lumières between Les Sables d'Olonne and Talmont Saint Hilaire on the departmental 949 (GPS: N: 46.477; O: 1.667), the Vendée automobile museum is first and foremost a story of family: that of GIRON who for more than 75 years recover, restore and maintain cars, 2 wheels and all kinds of accessories related to historic vehicles for the pleasure of preserving heritage.

Cornerstone of tourism in the Pays des Olonnes, the Vendée auto museum is definitely worth a visit for the richness of its collections which continue to grow over the years.
