Auto moto muzeum Františkovy Lázně
The Auto-Moto Museum in Františkovy Lázně, now located on Klostermannova Street, offers a charmingly packed display of vintage vehicles. Featuring German classics like Mercedes alongside Czech icons Škoda and Tatra, the collection also includes quirky treasures like the Trabant and the rare Simson Duo tricycles for East German accessibility. It’s a cozy space where history is a bit "bumper-to-bumper," but that only adds to its charm. Whether you’re a gearhead or just love quirky stories on wheels, this museum is worth a stop.
Do you have a classic car lover at home? Take him on a trip to see unique vintage cars. In Františkovy Lázně you will find the Auto Moto Museum with more than 100 exhibits. In the museum of vintage cars there you will see not only Czech brands such as Škoda, Jawa, Tatra or the legendary Velorex known from the movie Escape from Františkovy Lázně, but also foreign brands. For example, there is a unique Mercedes 1938 Cabrio.
The museum is located opposite the Bohemia Hotel, where you can stay or have a meal in the restaurant.
From the museum you can also go on another adventure - nearby is Komorní hůrka, the youngest Czech volcano. You can reach it along the blue heart trail. This volcanic cone with a height of 503 m. above sea level was made famous by the poet J. W. Goethe, who, as an enthusiastic naturalist, was fascinated by it during his first visit to Františkovy Lázně in 1808.
